Kaingo Camp and Mwamba Bush Camp are the creation of the Shenton family, which has a proud history of three generations of wildlife conservation in Southern Africa.
Kaingo camp consists of six brick and thatch chalets, including two honeymoon suites with soaring skylights to the stars. Each chalet has an outdoor bathtub and a private deck overlooking the magnificent Luangwa River. All rooms have en-suite facilities.
Only a few kilometres away, nestled under giant ebony trees , is Mwamba Bush Camp, an intimate and authentic camp with only three reed and thatched chalets and al fresco facilities. By experiencing Kaingo Camp and transfering to Mwamba Bush Camp, guests can enjoy the unique environs and character of both camps while maintaining stellar service and continuity of staff and guiding.
The trademark of Shenton Safaris is the ingenious network of photographic hides offering exhilarating opportunitus for close- up views of hippos, elephants and other wildlife. Visits to these hides are part of the three daily game viewing activities offered by the camp.
