Tafika camp

Tafika Camp is an authentic bush camp offering warm hospitality, a relaxed family atmosphere and a superior safari experience with amazing game viewing. Located just outside the Nsefu sector of South Luangwa National Park, Tafika is the home and base camp of John and Carol Coppinger's owner-run company, Remote Africa Safaris.

Tafika has a relaex family atmosphere. Unlike many South Luangwa camps, it stays open in the Green Season from February to April.

The accomodation caters for just 14 guests in five six spacious rustic chalets shadded by giant leadwood trees on the banks of the river. All chalets have en-suite toilets and open-air showers.

The restaurant has an on-site chef providing three meals a day. The food is excellent and suplplemented by a wonderful supply of fresh fruit and vegetables from the kitchen garden.

Tafika plays an active role in local development by sponsoring teacher's salaries and pupil's tuition at Mkasanga school.
