Tena Tena Camp has been described by "The Times" of London as one of the best safari camps in Africa.
Located within the National Park, this small and remote camp has a wonderful position on a sweeping bend of the Luangwa River. It is open from May to October.
There is tented accomodation, with en-suite bathrooms, for eight to 10 guests. The large, custom-made tents are shaded by a grove of mahogany trees. From the thatched dining room and bar, guests can watch elephants, hippo and antelope on the river banks.
At the specutacular Buca Buca lagoon, located nearby, guests can while away a morning waiting quietly for the game to come down to feed and drink. Thanks to the remote setting, the camp and its guests have these scenes to themselves.
Activities include walking , day and night drivers.
