Munyemeshi Lodge - Lower Zambezi in Chieftainess Chiawa

Munyemeshi is a self- catering lodge situated on the banks of mighty Zambezi River, in the Chiawa game management area, approximately 62 kilometres from Chirundu and just 10 kilometres from the Lower Zambezi National Park. The Zambezi is the biggest river in Zambia and one of the longest rivers on the African continent. The lodge is only about 200 km from the capital city of Lusaka.
The 8 thatched, self contained chalets are spread out along the banks of the river each with a view. Guests can congregate in the double storey dining and lounge area over looking the Zambezi River for meals or to relax during the day, fishing off the side of the deck or just sip sundowners whilst watching the glorious sunsets. It is a very attractive site, shaded by beautiful trees. The chalets have access to fully equipped kitchens with hot water, gas stoves, fridges, freezers and cutlery. The resident chef will cook your meals for you from the kitchen should you need to be spoiled. Tiger fishing and game viewing are some of the activities provided by Munyemeshi Self Catering Lodge. Walking safaris can also be arranged.
