Lufupa River Camp
Lufupa River Camp is located at the confluence of the Lufupa and Kafue River.
The camp features nine comfortable en-suite tents (two for families) and these are offered on a bed- and - breakfast basis.
Puku, impala and defassa waterbuck are common while more unusual species include Lichtenstein's hartebeest. The area is renowed for its leopard and regular elephant and lion sightings.
Activities ( at extra cost) include day and night drives adjoining the Kafue River and Lufupa Channel. There are boat trips to view the area's incredible hippo population and this is complemented by a constant array of colourful water birds, reptile and other life.
Guided nature walks and fishing excursions are also on offer.
