What You Wear to Bed and What it Says About You

Choosing your own personal style is an important part of establishing your identity. Not only does it reflect your personal tastes and fashion sense, but it also provides hints for others about your personality. You should always pick your wardrobe carefully, as people do tend to focus a lot on clothes when they form impressions of a person.
When it comes to clothes and personality, nothing gives other people a better look at the “real you” than your choice of nightwear. Nightwear is for more than just sleeping in – it’s also a good indicator of what kind of person you are. What you wear to bed can say a lot about you. Let’s take a look at the different choices you can make and what they say about you. You may find out some things that even you weren’t aware of!

Lingerie

Lingerie is definitely an indication of a woman who is at her most comfortable when she’s being romantic and passionate. A lot of lingerie is very comfortable to lounge around or sleep in, but the real focus with this type of nightwear is looking alluring. Every woman, no matter who she is, should have some lingerie in her closet. Now, the different types of lingerie also reflect your personality. If you opt for a simple but sexy number then it means that you’re the kind of girl who loves to be in the arms of your love. Then again if you have leather lingerie, then you are saying that you’re the kind of woman who loves to be in control in the bedroom.

Pajamas

The most traditional type of nightwear is pajamas. Pajamas are certainly very tame and safe compared to lingerie or other more risqué nightwear. Still, different types of pajamas say different things about their wearers. If your PJs are of a basic material like cotton and have pastel colors, then you’re the kind of girl who is totally laid back and takes everything in stride. If you have bolder more exciting colors or sensual fabrics like silk, then you are clearly a little more on the wild side.

T-Shirts

When you wear a t-shirt to bed, that means that you are a very simple and no-frills kind of person. A lot of modern women’s nightwear is just basic t-shirts. There’s certainly nothing wrong with this approach – the only flaw with t-shirts is that they just aren’t very good at enticing a lover into an amorous evening.

Negligee

Negligee, like lingerie, is the sign of a sensual woman who isn’t afraid of her erotic side. The simple act of wearing negligee can lead to both a woman and her partner finding themselves in the mood for love. Some women like to sleep in their negligee, a clear statement about their natural sex appeal. Negligee is quite comfortable for sleeping, but it also has another purpose – helping a woman access her deeply passionate nature.
