Rihanna chat ends 'abruptly'
Rihanna "abruptly ended" an interview after she was questioned about her love life.
The 24-year-old Battleship star – who was being interviewed by Australian show Sunrise about her new film – called time on the interview after she was asked about how "frustrating" it is to be questioned to be linked to other stars; most recently Two and a Half Men star Ashton Kutcher and her ex-boyfriend Chris Brown.
"[It's] very frustrating," Rihanna replied, appearing annoyed. "Almost as frustrating as being asked about it."
"Yeah, you don't like going there?" the reporter asked.
"I mean, what's the point," Rihanna replied.
Seemingly defending her question, the reporter added: "Well people are interested in you, you're a big star," to which Rihanna responded: "They are. And they're interested in a lot of things - a lot of things that don't matter. Or shouldn't."
A voice-over then explains that Rihanna had ended the interview, making it the second time in recent weeks that the We Found Love story – who was spotted making a midnight visit to Kutcher's house in March – has expressed her annoyance over questions about her personal life.
At a London press conference, a journalist asked her: "Things are clearly going brilliantly in your career. I just wondered if you are as happy in your private life, and will we see a certain Mr Ashton Kutcher perhaps making a trip over here?"
Clearly irritated, Rihanna replied: "Wow, how disappointing was that question?"
When the mediator asked if she wanted to move on to the next question, Rihanna said "absolutely" before adding, "I'm happy and I'm single, if that's what you're really asking."
