A Woman in Black sequel is in development.

Studio Hammer is teaming with Alliance Films and Cross Creek Pictures to work on the project, which is titled The Woman in Black: Angels of Death and will take place 40 years after the original movie.

The script will be written by Jon Croker - who worked as a story editor on the first film, which starred Daniel Radcliffe – with Roy Lee serving as executive producer. No director has yet been attached.

Radcliffe is not believed to be returning, as the story will focus on a couple who move into eerie Eel Marsh House four decades after the setting of the original.

The Woman in Black has raked in $120 383 993 million at the international box office so far, and has marked the first major movie for Radcliffe after completing his work on the Harry Potter franchise.
