Andre 3000 as Jimi Hendrix: First Look!
http://screencrush.com
Andre Benjamin, also known as Andre 3000 of Outkast fame, is taking on the role of Jimi Hendrix in an upcoming movie, and man, was he well ... kast.
The 37-year-old hip hop star is currently in Ireland shooting All Is by My Side, in which he portrays the legendary, revolutionary guitarist (1942-1970).
The film tells the story of Hendrix's time in England during 1966-1967, before he rose to fame in the U.S., and is scheduled to hit theaters next year.
Can you see Andre as Hendrix after this photo comparison? It's hard not to, although he'll have to work on his guitar skills and vocals as well as the hair.
