Nicki Minaj’s video 'too saucy for TV'
Nicki Minaj’s new music video may make her fans a bit hot under the collar.
Speaking to Capital FM radio, the singer said that the video for her new single Starships, off her latest album Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded, may be "too saucy for TV".
She told the radio station that there had been a small delay in getting it finished as she needed to do a re-edit, but was now ready to go.
"It's officially done. There was just one tiny little thing I wanted to change but I know at the beginning of next week you guys will see it.
"It may be too saucy for TV."
Minaj, who is also known for her quirky sense of style, was recently quoted as saying that she was "pop culture".
"I guess I am pop culture, just because what I'm doing seems to be popular. I don't ask girls to wear pink hair; they just do it. It's not about black or white; I think it's just a statement. It does not matter which colour you are, it's just a statement of being fearless."
The 29-year-old singer also explained why she recently deleted her twitter account – and then re-opened nine days later.
She explained: "I just needed a moment to myself.
