Police cut Drake's show short
The police forced Drake to wrap up his show early this week.
The Take Care rapper was forced to end his show prematurely on Tuesday – cutting three songs from the set – in Irvine, California, after he ran over time and officials feared he would disturb the locals living in the area.
He tweeted after the show: "Police made me cut the show short but I love you all for rocking with me Irvine."
The rapper (25) has to end the show at 11.45pm cutting sets from J Cole, Waka Flocka Flame, 2 Chainz and two others despite tweeting earlier that the show would start at 6.30pm and asking fans to come early.
He recently said that he tried to include as many different acts as he could for his Club Paradise US tour.
He told MTV: "I tried to put together a tour that consisted of everybody that you hear in your spare time."
And although Drake says his “playing in big arenas” he won’t change who he is.
He said: "I've been playing FIFA, eating Jamaican food and listening to dancehall in little basements. That's just what I do. I don't want to change just because I'm playing in big arenas."
