Men more likely to remarry
The findings of a new study have revealed that men are twice as likely to wed again after a divorce than women.
Of the 2000 subjects who had been through a divorce, 47 percent of men said they would marry again compared with only 20 percent of women.
The study was carried out in conjunction with the release of the romantic comedy Crazy, Stupid, Love onto DVD.
Less than 20 percent of women said they would consider joining a date coaching service but men were far more open to the idea - 40 percent to be exact.
Over thirty percent of men admitted to trying online dating too compared to a very low 19 percent of women.
The Daily Mail quoted divorce lawyer Georgina Chase as confirming that in her experience women tended to be more cautious about remarrying. "Men, however, appear very keen post-divorce to find a new girlfriend and often that girlfriend wants the security of marriage and will push for it."
