Zamtel speaks on internet penetration

Mobile Phone Company, Zamtel has expressed concern at the low mobile internet penetration in the country.
The company has noted the huge market demand for internet services especially now that more business transactions are internet based.
Company Managing Director, Hans Poulsen has told journalists in Lusaka that Zamtel will therefore invest significantly in mobile internet services.
Mr Poulsen says millions of dollars have been injected into projects like the video call service and internet dongos, which will be supplied on to the market.
He has added that Zamtel would like to be a total communication service provider through the increased roll out of affordable 2nd and 3rd generation services.
