Kabimba's position with govenment clarified
Patriotic Front General Secretary Wynter Kabimba
Foreign Affairs and Tourism minister Given Lubinda has clarified that patriotic front secretary general Winter Kabimba has no position in government.
Mr. Lubinda says as far as he is concerned, there is no government declaration stating that Mr. Kabimba is third in government.
He says the only statement made by President Michael Sata made was that Mr. Kabimba will be third in protocol at state functions.
Speaking in an interview with QFM, Mr. Lubinda says President Sata's statement does not in any way mean that the PF SG has a position in government.
He says people should not fall in traps being set by the UPND leader Hakainde Hichilema and MMD presidential aspirant Nevers Mumba, who he says are only cheating themselves.
