FODEP wants govt position on DPP
The Foundation for Democratic Process (FODEP) says government state its position on calls for the Director of Public Prosecutions Mutembo Nchito to resign.
FODEP executive director Macdonald Chipenzi says government should come out and state its position on calls being championed by the opposition.
Mr. Chipenzi has also challenged the DPP to state his position on the matter.
He says silence will only spread suspicion that something is being hidden on the matter surrounding the calls to have the DPP step-down.
National Restoration party president Elias Chipimo junior yesterday joined fellow opposition leaders in calling for the resignation of the Director for Public Prosecutions Mutembo Nchito.
This is in connection to the suspension of three Judges by President Michael Sata for alleged professional misconduct over the handling of the Development Bank of Zambia case involving the defunct Zambian Airways.
