Conflicts follow Mampi and Tamara

Big Brother Housemates are coming out to play in earnest and for the viewer, things can only get better. Clashes between housemates are becoming a recurrent theme, what else can you expect from such a variety of personalities all in one place? Mampi has already pointed out that she dislikes South Africa’s starmate Barbz’s bossy attitude. Well, Mampi may be counting one more   problem with Barbz because apparently, the R&B diva did not take kindly to Barbz asking if Mampi’s weave is Brazilian.

Quite unfazed by whatever maybe upsetting her, Mampi showcased her singing talent when she opened her presentation with the Macky 2 (featuring Exile) hit Nangu Banchinge. She sang and danced a bit while her fellow starmates applauded. She gave her presentation a Zambian feel with the opening song, flag and catchphrase “don’t kubeba”.

In Downville, clashes have not spared the two sisters Tamara and Talia. The two did not mince their words when they told Big Brother how Tanzanian housemate Hilda acts like she runs Downville. Tamara also told Biggie that she was ok but not entirely over the argument she had with Ugandan housemate Kyle concerning Zambia. She complained that Hilda is a control freak who wants to act like her mother and yet she’s only a year older than her (Tamara). Talia agreed with her sister’s account of her confrontation with Hilda. She blamed fellow housemates for not being able to sit the two down and analysing the situation. She said she saw Tamara all by herself crying.

The two ended up in tears as they narrated their experiences and Biggie urged them to hold it together because they were strong characters and that was the reason they were even in the house.

Tamara and Talia have no plans for the weekend so we will just have to wait and see what they get up to. In Upville, however, it is safe to anticipate some action this weekend as Ghanaian starmate DKB plans to “play Mampi and help her get out of her shell”. DKB, who has been spending a lot of time with Mampi, feels she is too reserved and gives her refusal to even get in the Jacuzzi as an example of her conservativeness.
