BB Star Gamers ready for week two
The Zambian sisters in Downville, Tamara and Talia, say they are ready for week two in the Big Brother Africa house. The two told big brother in their diary session that they had a good and fun-filled weekend.
Talia talked about how friendships are starting to be formed among housemates and how people are now getting along with each other. She talked about how she and Zimbabwean housemate Maneta were close and how she now feels sorry that Maneta left. Tamara says she also feels sorry about Maneta. The two are unaware that, thanks to a big brother twist, Maneta was not evicted but upgraded to Upville where she is now competing as an individual and not part of a pair. Tamara and Talia also told big brother about the tensions in the house.
Talia complained that some housemates are irresponsible and disrespectful and gave an example of people who don’t tidy up after themselves.
Last evening, the two sisters did not seem as bothered as some of their fellow housemates over food. Downville housemates spent the better part of the evening complaining about how hungry they were and how they had run out of basic supplies. The housemates kept yawning and fantasizing over the prospect of getting pizzas, chicken and cheese burgers. Tamara and Talia kept themselves busy with beadwork for the Avatar Task that they have been given.
And in Upville, Mampi told big brother how she is now avoiding Ghana’s DKB after their heated argument. Mampi, who used to spend a lot of time with DKB, said she wants to keep her distance just in case something she says offends him again. She said he is a nice guy but she thinks he takes advantage of women and gave an example of an encounter he had with Namibia’s Lady May. She said the way he addressed her in their argument made her believe he has no respect for women. “I am cool with him and I am even talking to him but I’m not comfortable around him because I think he’s the type that doesn’t respect women and takes advantage of them”, she said. She said she does not hold grudges and much as she is still unhappy about what he said to her, she will get over it soon.
