BB Upvillers kiss and make up
Upville last week became a battle field of sorts with all kinds of scuffles and underlying tensions playing out in the house. Mampi was at the center of one of the biggest scuffles in which she exchanged bitter words with Ghana’s DKB. This week, the energy is shifting from hostility to harmony as housemates have resolved to be more respectful towards each other. Big brother used the housemate’s individual diary sessions to talk to them about respect and forgiveness.
DKB took it upon himself to apologise in front of all the housemates as they ate. He apologized to Mampi for all the hurtful things he had told her during their big fight on Sunday. He said it was a heated moment and attributed his actions to anger. Mampi, who did not seem to want to dwell on the matter, promptly accepted his apology and said she had already forgiven him even before the apology. In her diary session, Mampi told Biggie that she is now getting along well with DKB after their fight. She said that some of her fellow housemates felt she did well to confront him during their argument.
Big Brother has ordered the housemates, in both Upville and Downville, to stay up for two nights and three days. During this time, housemates are to create a 20 minute bedtime story, which they will present during the weekly task presentation in the garden.
Mampi, who is Upville head of house, said housemates have mixed feelings about the wager but it is good. She said winning it will take hard work and commitment to the task. She said much as she is a creative person, she does not want to impose her ideas on other people during the task.
Over in Downville, Tamara got Nigeria’s Ola sharing his thoughts on girls. She asked him if he would go for any of the girls in the house and he said no. He asked her why she was asking and she revealed that Maneta, who is now in Upville, had a crush on him while she was still in Downville. Ola told her he did not want to be with any girl in the house because it was just a game and he was only there for the prize money. He said if he wanted a girl then he would find her outside because he wants something more serious and he believes he cannot get that in the house. Tamara felt Ola needs to loosen up and have fun. She, however, agreed that the prize money was the only real thing in the house and everything else is fake.
