Zambia- Ghana encounter a must win - Sata
President Michael Sata says the Zambia - Ghana world cup qualifier match slated for 9th June 2012 should be a must win for the Africa Cup Champions Chipolopolo copper bullets.
The match is expected to be played at the Levy Mwanawasa Stadium in Ndola.
And President Sata thanked the Chinese government for putting up an altra-modern stadium in Ndola.
The head of state was speaking this morning when he officially commissioned the ultra modern stadium in Ndola upon his arrival from Angola.
The head of state has since called urged the youth and sports minister Chishimba Kabwili to ensure that the facility operates as a viable commercial property.
The President noted that the Mwanawasa stadium is like a consolation to the people of Ndola for the Dag Hammarskjold stadium that was demolished.
President Sata however said government will ensure that the demolished stadium is re-build adding that government is also considering setting up a diplomatic school at the crush site were the UN secretary general died.
He adds that the diplomatic school would be named in honor of the late Dag Hammarskjold.
President Sata has also hinted that government has plans of setting up similar facilities in all the 10 provincial centres to promote sport countrywide.
