PF claims Lusaka High Court has dismissed consolidated actions by ‘rebel MPs'
The Lusaka High Court has dismissed with costs all the consolidated actions against Patriotic Front (PF) by its sixteen rebel Members of Parliament.
The development was revealed in Lusaka today at a press briefing by the PF secretary general, Wynter Kabimba who says the consolidations were dismissed on Friday, 25th February, 2011.
Mr. Kabimba further says he has written to all the people involved informing them about their expulsion from the party.
In 2007 PF expelled sixteen members of parliament from the party for going against the party's directive not to be part of the National Constitution Conference (NCC).
And Mr. Kabimba says the PF has launched a mobile membership registration programme.
He explains that currently the programme is only available to Airtel subscribers.
